The “Global Mode” feature will be similar to the premium feature, “Passport Mode,” which was made available for free last month. However, it will not be entirely the same as the said feature. According to The Verge, profiles of users will be populated across the world, unlike the “Passport Mode” which only allows the user to swipe in a certain area.

According to Tinder, the pandemic has spiked up the number of people who use the app. With this, they have decided to roll these out, along with other interactive video features. The “Global Mode” will be tested for some users next week, before making it available for all.
