On April 26, 2011 Filipinos were treated to an awesome concert courtesy of Irish soft- rock trio, The Script. The Araneta Coliseum was packed with fans singing along to the band’s hit songs such as Breakeven, The Man Who Can’t be Moved, Nothing and For the First Time. If you missed this concert and are feeling bummed out about it, then fret not because The Script is coming back to Manila for round 2! The Irish lads will once again be taking the stage at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on March 31, 2013, playing hits from their latest album #3.
Here’s to hoping that they play tracks from their sophomore album Science and Faith, but if there’s one song you can definitely look forward to enjoying at the concert it’s their current hit single “Hall of Fame” which features Will.I.Am of The Black Eye Peas. Taking a break from songs that usually revolve around relationship problems, “Hall of Fame” is an inspirational anthem that shines both lyrically and musically. Other tracks that we can look forward to are Six Degrees of Separation, If You Could See Me Now and my personal favorite, Good ‘Ol Days.
So what are you waiting for? Go and buy your tickets as a special evening is definitely in store for Filipino fans of The Script. Tickets may be purchased from any Ticketnet outlets or at online at www.ticketnet.com.ph, starting Nov 15th 2,012. For inquiries please call 911-5555.
