The Rest Is Noise (TRIN), a music curation and events production outfit based in the Philippines, will celebrate its 10th anniversary with the return of All Of The Noise 2025. The two-day live music and culture event will take place at Astbury Makati from April 4-5, 2025.
With a focus on music discovery, cross-cultural dialogue, and creative networking, this yearโs edition aims to champion the diverse music communities in the Philippines and Asia while promising an unforgettable experience for artists, fans, and industry professionals alike.
All Of The Noise 2025 expands on its 2019 programming, offering multi-format activities, including music-themed documentary screenings, panel discussions, and keynote presentations in the morning and afternoon, followed by a live music showcase each evening. The event will highlight critically acclaimed and up-and-coming musicians from the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Indonesia, as well as a special exhibit presenting the work of Karen De La Fuente, a prominent music photographer based in Manila.
โAs we celebrate 10 years of The Rest Is Noise, we wanted to highlight what helped us reach this milestone in the first placeโour community,โ says MC Galang, co-founder and creative director of TRIN. โIt started here at home, with the belief, support, and collaboration of music artists who were at the forefront of the events weโve put together over the years. But even early on, I think we instinctively sought out people beyond Metro Manila who were doing the same thing we were doing. We first connected with Visayas and Mindanao, then eventually expanded to Southeast Asia, the rest of Asia, and the world.โ
Originally conceived as a year-end, mid-sized music festival, the third iteration of All Of The Noise expands on its 2019 multi-format programming, refining TRINโs brand of curation by importing Asian indie acts and laying the groundwork for exporting Filipino music talent through its role as co-founder, producer, and programmer of the intraregional AXEAN Festival.
Galang adds, โThis yearโs programming, I think, is the best weโve conceptualized so far. I wouldnโt say it was the easiest, but it was a natural progression and a reflection of our individual and collective careers. The live music program remains a crucial centerpiece of any production we do, championing exciting newcomers and established indie acts who have showcased their talents abroad, as well as exceptional musicians from Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, and Indonesia.โ
Live Music Programming
The live music showcase will feature co-headlining performances from Taiwanese soft-rock band The Chairs, Thai alt-pop band KIKI, Singaporean hip-hop artist San The Wordsmith, and Indonesian experimental electronic act Logic Lost.
Joining them on stage will be the Philippinesโ very own ena mori, SOS, Pedicab, Waiian, and obese.dogma777.
The event will also spotlight Cebu-based artists Mandaue Nights and IIICCCYYY, along with the debut of Paul Yap (UDD) and Mario Consunji (Musical O)โs collaborative project, Double Shy.
Additional performers include Cheeky Things, Pette Shabu, Pixie Labrador, SVATG, and Fashion Island.
Music Conference
All Of The Noise brings back the conference program, Cut Through The Noise, expanded from its 2019 edition. This yearโs multi-format summit will feature dynamic panel discussions and keynote presentations exploring key topics relevant to the local and regional music scene, providing a platform for diverse voices from niche music communities.
Each panel will have a moderator and resource speakers who will discuss their respective topics, offering insights and expert opinions. Panelists and speakers will be announced in the coming days.
