The Discovery Resorts, composed of Discovery Boracay, Discovery Samal, and Discovery Coron, recently held its top producers’ appreciation event at Discovery Primea in Makati in recognition of the top accounts of its properties.
Styled as a coffee rave-inspired soirée, the event became a vibrant stage for the hospitality group to honor and celebrate its valued business partners, recognizing the individuals and organizations whose support has helped make Discovery Boracay, Discovery Samal and Discovery Coron not only as a memorable hideaway, but a once-in-a-lifetime experience for its loyal patrons and guests.

Dubbed as “Afternoon Beats and More,” the celebration came alive with electrifying mixes from DJ Ron Poe, Discovery Boracay’s resident crowd favorite who has headlined the property’s marquee events for decades.
For this year’s celebration, Discovery Resorts commissioned Camille Tolentino, widely recognized in the art world as Kalem, to create bespoke trophies for its valued partners. Inspired by the vibrant corals of Philippine waters, each piece symbolizes resilience, beauty, and connection. Just as coral flourishes through its natural partnership with algae, the group’s collaborations reflect the same harmony—enduring relationships that continue to grow into something truly remarkable.

Capping the caffeine-charged affair was a runway showcase of Avel Bacudio’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection, which he calls, Piñabel, a striking line crafted from the designer’s signature sustainable textile woven from pineapple, banana, waterlily, and bamboo fibers. The event also offered attendees an exclusive preview of two upcoming Discovery Group properties set to rise in Siargao and El Nido under its new brand, Kip&Kin, slated to open in the coming years. A fresh accommodation concept for the group, Kip&Kin blends the energy of hostel living and hotel service, all anchored on its “Live Unbound” ethos that celebrates community, kinship, and connection. Designed for millennial and Gen Z travelers, the brand will feature dynamic spaces that inspire both personal discovery and shared experiences, creating meaningful connections with fellow travelers and the destination itself.
The event also offered an exclusive first look at Elize Point, a premier luxury residential estate project in Davao and the very first development of its kind for the group.
