Gilas coach Chot Reyes was displeased with the latest developments concerning their naturalized player Andray Blatche, according to a report by Sports5.
Blatche was supposed to be in practice on Monday but was a no-show because he was still in the U.S. His girlfriend had just given birth a few days ago and Blatche was asked to stay for the babyโs christening.
The initial discussion between Reyes and Blatche was the latter would fly out to Manila the day after his son was born, but now he is expected to arrive Friday which drew the ire from the Gilas coach.

Gilas is scheduled to participate in the upcoming SEABA tournament, but have yet to practice with Blatche and thatโs a major concern for the coaching staff.
Reyes even raised the possibility of replacing Blatche in the SEABA lineupย and that Gilas might go all-Filipino.
