The Fault in Our Stars Trailer is Now Out and It Does NOT Disappoint John Green Fans!!!
When in Manila, have you seen the “The Fault in Our Stars” trailer yet?
Perhaps my first question should be: are you a John Green fan?
I fell in love with John Green a few years ago when I first read “Looking for Alaska” – a novel that instantly made it into the top five of my favorite books list. After that, I got obsessed with the book and bought every other John Green book I could get my hands on, none of which (unfortunately) succeeded in winning me over the way that “Looking for Alaska” did. So, when “The Fault in Our Stars” came out in bookstores, I avoided it like the plague, chalking it up to John Green being a one-book wonder.
A few weeks ago, I finally gave in when I heard that “The Fault in Our Stars” movie was coming out soon. I cried. I cried, I cried and I cried some more. Hagulgol-crying, too, not regular crying.
So, while John Green may not have wow-ed me with most of his work, “The Fault in Our Stars” was a pleasant (yet utterly heartbreaking) exception.
Well, a few days ago, the “The Fault in Our Star” teaser trailer came out, which existed of 12 seconds of awesomeness and a few hours ago, the official “The Fault in Our Stars” trailer finally came out. If you are a John Green fan, then prepare to cry in 3… 2…
“The Fault in Our Stars” Trailer
Awesome, right? It definitely did not disappoint. This is actually the first trailer that I cried watching since the “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” trailer (which, admittedly, wasn’t too long ago but was the very trailer I cried about). It helps that Shailene Woodley is an amazing actress and the perfect choice for Hazel Grace and that I just found out that Nat Wolff (of “Stuck in Love” fame) plays Isaac through the trailer.
I cannot wait for this movie. When in Manila, who else cannot wait? Hands up!
