The UP Oroquieta will once again hold the College Entrance Exam Review (CEER) for Grade 10, 11, and 12 students on October 17, 2026, at Lucena West 1 Elementary School.
CEER is one of the highly anticipated flagship events of UP Oroquieta that has served students across Quezon Province with a comprehensive review of key subject areas covered in different college entrance tests (CETs), including Language Proficiency, Reading Comprehension, Mathematics Proficiency, Science Proficiency, and Abstract and Mechanical Reasoning.
Held annually, this initiative has been recognized by the Schools Division Offices of Lucena City, Tayabas City, and Quezon Province, widening its reach to high schools in different provincial districts with the objective of offering a competent and immersive test-taking experience at an accessible and affordable price.
With over 500 expected attendees this year, CEER will provide essential knowledge and effective test-taking strategies to students through its two subevents: Mock Exam and Lecture.
The mock examination is designed to simulate students’ test-taking abilities and immerse them in real-life CET conditions, with questions that mirror the format and difficulty of the actual exam. Once done, lectures and participative discussions from guest experts in each key subject will give students a chance to review their test performance by breaking down complex concepts, sharing problem-solving techniques, and giving test-taking advice essential for CETs.
More than academic enhancement, CEER 2026 allows high school students to learn about the organizational goals and objectives of UP Oroquieta and the degree programs offered at the University of the Philippines Los Baños, helping them with their college search.
Since the establishment of UP Oroquieta in 1996, the official varsitarian organization of Quezon Province in UPLB has continued to conduct initiatives and competitions in commitment to genuine and sustainable service in targeted sectors across Quezon Province. From academic enhancement to community services, the organization has been upholding the values of camaraderie that extend beyond the campus to its significant stakeholders, Quezonians.
With the 30th anniversary of UP Oroquieta, the organization is more than ready to serve Quezonian high school students with sustainable educational skills through CEER 2026.
