The Ascott Makati: Live in Premiere Comfort Right in the Heart of Makati

The Ascott Makati: Live in Premiere Comfort Right in the Heart of Makati

It’s safe to say that the City of Makati is one of the densest cities in the world. In fact, based on the list of the Top 50 densely populated cities worldwide by Wikipedia, Makati is the 38th most densely populated one (with our very own City of Manila being the #1 MOST densely populated city, thus the traffic in the whole metro huhuhu) and more than a million people are present in the city on a regular working day.

This is mainly because Makati is THE financial capital of the country as majority of the multinational and local companies in the Philippines are here. Plus, the city serves as one of the major entertainment and culture hubs in the whole Metro Manila. With #MakeitMakati as its tourism slogan, to live or work in Makati’s Central Business District is definitely something one would love to have the privilege of.

Because of this, staying in a hotel that is literally right in the heart of Makati would feel like heaven. 🙂  Imagine this: you’ll only need less than 10 minutes to reach Ayala Avenue or buy a movie ticket at Glorietta or Greenbelt. Well, you can do just that at the premier serviced residence located in the middle of the major lifestyle hotspot in Makati, the Ayala Center, and that is……. The Ascott Makati.

I’ve been going to Makati, particularly Glorietta, very often lately as it’s a nice location to unwind after going through ‘hell’ on the MRT. While descending the stairs of MRT Ayala Station, I’ve always seen these two tall towers from afar standing on top of the part of Glorietta 4 and wondered what those buildings were…

… and as discovered, those two towers are part of Ascott Makati. As you can see, it’s directly connected to the shopping mall! All you need is 5 minutes at most to go down the floors of Ascott Makati to reach Glorietta 4’s entrance, and shop, dine or relax. It’s as easy as that!

The Concierge

Ascott Makati is proud to be known for letting its guests experience premiere comfort and privacy in their well-appointed homey apartments, making you feel a sense of isolation amidst the bustling scene of the Central Business District. Often chosen by top executives from top companies around the globe (it was even one of the hotel partners for the recent World Economic Forum last May), the Ascott Makati has indeed proven itself to be truly world-class. Thankfully, we were given an opportunity to experience first-hand what the Ascott brand of service has to offer.

While reading an informational booklet, I discovered that Ascott Makati has a total of 362 rooms in its two towers. For the specific number of the types of room that comprise the 362, here’s the breakdown:

  • 56 Studio Deluxe (36 sqm)
  • 48 Studio Executive (53 sqm)
  • 56 One-bedroom classic (72 sqm)
  • 62 One-bedroom deluxe (74 sqm)
  • 46 One-bedroom executive (83 sqm)
  • 56 Two-bedroom deluxe (113 sqm)
  • 12 Two-bedroom executive (144 sqm)
  • 20 Three-bedroom deluxe (220-224 sqm)
  • 6 Penthouses (263-292 sqm)

Enough of the booklet-reading, let me show you one the interiors of their Two-Bedroom Deluxe, so you can learn more about the premiere comfort I’m talking about 🙂
