TenZ Breaks Silence on Split With Kyedae

Former professional VALORANT player Tyson “TenZ” Ngo took to social media to address his split with content creator Kyedae.

On X, TenZ said he was “disheartened” to see social media users “creating false narratives and spreading unnecessary hate,” particularly toward Kyedae.

“We parted on completely mutual terms, and we still care deeply about each other. It honestly hurts so much to see her being attacked when we BOTH supported each other through insanely difficult times,” he wrote.

“I also quit playing pro of my own accord and was never influenced by her to quit. People’s goals can change over time, and that is just what happened with me. In a healthy relationship, there should never be comparisons about who sacrificed more or gave more — that mindset is immature and helps nobody,” he added.

The esports personality also asked everyone to be more respectful and to stop “pointless drama” about the situation.

“All I ask is that you please respect Kyedae as a person and respect the decision we made together. This kind of pointless “drama” is exactly why having a relationship in the public eye can be so draining,” he stated.

He added that the negativity pointed toward Kyedae was “more heartbreaking” and “unfair,” given that she is currently undergoing health issues.

“She is also still dealing with ongoing health issues, which makes the negativity being spread even more heartbreaking and unfair. Thank you for understanding, and once again, please respect our decision,” he concluded his post.

On February 8, Kyedae revealed that they had ended their relationship after six years of being together, emphasizing that there was “no wrongdoing, no resentment, and no single event” that caused their split.

“Toward the end of our relationship, we came to a realization that wasn’t easy to accept: we had stopped growing as individuals,” she wrote in a statement.

“We moved in together just weeks after meeting, and from ages 17 to 24, that was all we knew. Over time, it became clear that we needed space to grow into our own people separately,” she added.

Before the pair broke up, they got engaged in early 2022.

Kyedae and TenZ are popular personalities in the Valorant community.
