Ever since they opened their doors in 2014, Sitting Duck has been making a buzz in Bacolod City’s gastro scene. No surprise there, because this place is downright superb. Crispy fried tabagak fillets in alioli and reduced balsamic vinegar. Unreal creation. This crowd favorite is as tempting as it sounds.
9. Kesong Puti Caprese (P250)
Baguio tomatoes, basil, and kesong puti. So refreshing! A healthy and light appetizer to kickstart your appetite for the generous feast coming your way.
8. Chicken Confit (P285)
This showstopper chicken is fatty, flavorful, and all sorts of fiiine. Its simple execution and balanced flavors makes this a solid dish.

7. Txistorra Pasta (P170)
They got major pasta game. Case in point, their txistorra pasta. The fatty, charred, and rich flavors of this Spanish sausage mixed with magical strips of linguini is what my dreams are made of.
6. Great Balls of Fire (P170)
These spicy meatballs in garlic mayo pesto sauce didn’t get its name for nothing. It is that great. And fiery. It is a perfect starter, but if you ask me, it’s even more perfect with just a cold beer. And just your luck, they have cold beers!
5. Braised Lamb Shank (P395)
Its distinctive gamey flavor combined with impeccable chunky tomato sauce and gremolata makes this dish a shining star on the menu.
4. Salpicao (P270)
Just how all salpicaos should be. Their tender beef cubes swimming in its buttery, garlicky, and flavor-packed sauce reigns supreme.
3. Adobo Flakes (P130)
A beloved dish, you’d think it’s impossible to love adobo even more. Then there’s this. Crisped to perfection, their adobo flakes is the right combination of sweet, sour, and heavenly.
2. Lamb Chops (P680)
Perfectly delicate and delectable, these flawless chops paired with grilled vegetables will surely knock your socks off.
1. Barbecue Pork Ribs (P290)
These slide-off-the-bone pork ribs are the juiciest and tastiest piece of meat in the city. Best ribs ever. Mic drop.
