South Korean retailer No Brand will close its Philippine operations by the end of June 2026, according to local sources. The company operates 11 standalone stores in the country.
Robinsons Retail Holdings, which runs the local franchise, reportedly decided to discontinue the business as part of a portfolio review, focusing instead on its core retail formats. This means the franchise partnership with South Korea’s E-Mart will also end.

No Brand first entered the Philippines in 2019, offering a range of private-label Korean groceries and household items, emphasizing affordability and simplicity.
In a statement to local media, Robinsons Retail president and CEO Stanley C. Co cited changing consumer preferences and shopping habits as factors behind the decision.
“Our focus remains on meeting customer needs by providing relevant assortments in the most appropriate formats,” Co said.
The brand, however, continues to maintain its presence in Southeast Asia. In Thailand, Central Food Retail—part of Central Retail Corporation—is set to open its first No Brand store at Central Bangna.
