Will Super Junior Be Holding an Adults-Only Concert for Fans Next?

ICYMI, Korean boy group, and “Kings of Hallyu Wave” Super Junior just celebrated their 15th Anniversary as a group last Friday, November 6. This was hosted through V Live for ELFs (the official fandom name) all over the world to see.

During the live stream, the Super Junior members watched their career highlights from the past 15 years. Leeteuk, the leader of Super Junior, remarked, “Even though it’s been 15 years, the members are just as cool as ever.”

The members also read well-wishes and messages from the staff at Label SJ, the label developed by record label SM Entertainment exclusively for Super Junior. According to a report by AllKpop.com, one staff member suggested that the group should hold a concert 10 to 40 years in the future.

“Some fans have asked us for a 19+ concert. Let’s gather all the fans who are of age and do it,” Leeteuk said. “Even if it takes more than 10 years and we’re gone from this earth, let’s do the ‘Super Show’ in heaven.”

During the live stream, Super Junior also released their new song, “The Melody.” Plus, Super Junior hosted a fan meet on November 7.

And ELFs have something else to look forward to! Come December, Super Junior will be releasing their 10th full-length album. How exciting!
