K-pop’s biggest names might be coming together for something much bigger than a typical concert.
According to recent reports, Hybe, JYP Entertainment, SM Entertainment, and YG Entertainment are in talks to form a joint venture to launch a large-scale music festival—one that’s already being compared to global events like Coachella.

Collectively, these agencies manage some of K-pop’s biggest acts, including BTS, SEVENTEEN, and NewJeans under Hybe; TWICE, Stray Kids, and ITZY from JYP Entertainment; EXO, NCT, and aespa from SM Entertainment; and BLACKPINK, BIGBANG, and TREASURE from YG Entertainment.
The proposed festival, tentatively called Fanomenon (a mix of “fan” and “phenomenon”), is being developed as part of a broader effort to expand K-culture worldwide. If plans push through, it could debut in South Korea by December 2027, featuring artists from all four agencies.
The project is still in its early stages, with the companies currently working through regulatory approvals and finalizing the structure of the collaboration. A global tour is also being considered, potentially bringing the event to major cities starting in 2028.
While details are still unfolding, the idea of four major K-pop agencies collaborating on a single stage is already drawing attention, especially given how rarely these companies work together at this scale.
