Boracay is my happy place. I visit the island every year. What I like most about it is that there’s a always a new place to visit and up-to-the-minute exciting things to do each time I go there. One great place I was able to visit last time I went to the island was Spider House, a guesthouse with a casual restaurant slash sushi bar. It turns into a tourist attraction because of its cliff jumping board.
I have some friends and acquaintances who have been to Boracay several times, but still have not been to Spider House. It is a bit far from the white beach, but if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the island, it is the best place to go.
It is located on the further side of station 1 called Diniwid beach. Foreigners frequent this place. It’s more of a hideout for them. The cave-like entrance is so cool.
The best time to visit Spider House is before the sun sets. It starts to get crowded around 5pm. The actual selling point of the place is its good and relaxing vibe. It also has an awesome view of the beach, its blue water, the sunset and more breathtaking scenery.
If you are in Boracay and want to go to a new chill spot, Spider House is the best place to visit. Just take the weight off your feet, chitchat with friends and gaze at the sunset.
How to get there: Ride a tricycle and pay around 100 – 150 one-way. Walk for a few minutes from the main road and go through cave-like formations before you hit the place.
