Long drive, family, strawberry taho, cold weather, and Burnham Park are my vivid recollections of Baguio City ten years ago. I surely had fun the last time I was there, so it was nice to be back again and experience the City of Pines more after a decade.
Staying in one of the prime hotels in Baguio made my long overdue visit wonderful. Azalea Residences is the perfect place to stay at when you’re with friends and family. It is log-cabin inspired hotel that features spacious rooms and suites.

Azalea Residences’ accommodation will you feel you are at the comfort of your own home with the luxury of hotel service. Each room has fully equipped kitchen, cozy bedroom, a restful living room, and a lavish bathroom.

Just like other hotels in Baguio, rooms are not air conditioned. City’s cold temperature is perfect enough to have a comfortable stay.

Unlike other hotels that require you to only avail food at their in-house bar or restaurant, Azalea Residences Baguio allows their guests to prepare their own by utilizing the fully equipped kitchen in each room. I bet moms on a budget would love to know this. You can prepare a sumptuous dinner or lunch with your kids or hubby, a sure great way to bond!
Azalea provides a very Filipino service. You can feel the warm reception of all the staff members. They are very attentive too with their guests’ needs. They make sure you are just having fun.
Their restaurant, Tradisyon, offers familiar Filipino dishes. They offer buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If you’re up for a drink or two, they also have bar called 8 Degrees Lounge, which serves a wide array of cocktails.
Staying at Azalea Residences, which is tucked in the heart of the city, allowed me to explore some of the attractions WhenInBaguio. I enjoyed strawberry and flower picking at La Trinidad, Benguet. Visiting Tam-Awan Village and seeing great artworks at BenCab Museum were enriching. I was able to get some cheap finds too at the night market along Harrison Road. For adventure-seekers, you should try out the thrilling rides at Treetop Adventure. If you want to experience night life in this city, go to the recently opened 2600 Gastro Pub.

With Azalea Residences’ good location its easy to tour around Baguio and get to some of the city’s attractions. The warmth of their service certainly matches with the city’s cold weather. Surely, I won’t let another ten years pass to set my feet again to this beautiful city and when I go back with my family or friends, I know where to stay.
