Sneakerheads and shoe collectors will definitely freak out over SneakPeek‘s latest release! There’s not just one, not two, but NINE premium and hard-to-find styles from the footwear brand PUMA.
The sixth installment of SneakPeek’s ‘UNLOCKED’ collaboration series happened this month at Eastwood City Central Plaza. It was a fun affair, with DJs like Ornusa Cadness, Sanya Smith, and Tom Taus taking centerstage, dropping heart pumping beats while people looked through SneakPeek’s exhibit.
Among the latest drops are two colorways of Puma Disc Blaze ‘3D Fast Fwd 2 Pack’, two colorways of Puma Disc Blaze ‘Updated Core Spec Pack’, two colorways of Puma R698 ‘Blocked Pack’ and three colorways of Puma Trinomic XT2.
“There are only less than thirty pairs per design, nationwide,” said SneakPeek Brand Executive Mikki Quilala. “We’d give it a week or two before they’re all sold out.” A pioneer for the no lace system, the Puma Disc Blaze is considered as one of its ‘heritage’ models and offers a unique formfitting feature. SneakPeek is releasing its 3D Fast Fwd 2 Pack that uses the Disc Blaze signature features – the adaptive Disc Fit System and swish Trinomic cushioning.
SneakPeek will also be releasing the Updated Core Spec Pack of the Puma Disc Blaze. With an even more advance fit system, the Puma Disc Blaze Updated Core Spec pack lets you adjust the upper’s internal wires for more support and comfort.
The updated model presents a lighter profile and uses materials that strike a balance between retro and futuristic.
Another addition to the lineup of 90’s babies is the Puma Trinomic XT2 – a carbon copy of its 90’s original minus the neutral shtick. Originally introduced in the 90’s, this classic runner is now one of the most advance running shoes and is back with a stylish modern look.
The trinomic technology is adapted to give an enhanced cushioning
for an excellent level of stability and comfort.
Lastly, another retro-inspired design from Puma is the R698 which was very popular in the early 90’s for its chunky silhouette and moulded eyelets. The R698 is now back with the Blocked Pack that features combined suede and mesh for great protection and breathability.
The Blocked Pack also uses Puma’s Trinomic cushioning system and lace tab.
With only a limited supply, shoe collectors would do well to hurry and get their hands (or feet) on their favorite pair before they all run out!
