With a month-long quarantine being imposed over the entire Luzon amid the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, many have canceled and postponed their big celebrations. However, this did not stop former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Slater Young from holding a fun-filled baby shower for his wife, blogger Kryz Uy, with whom he is expecting his first child!

Kryz shared multiple photos from the surprise arranged by Slater and his family on her Instagram post. “[The] one my bestie originally planned got [canceled] due to the quarantine and for everyone’s safety we decided to forgo it instead of [postponing] it, but [I] never expected this!” the expectant mother gushed.
Their garden was decorated with white and blue balloons and lanterns, fairy lights, and a homemade teepee. The family also celebrated with cake, games, and a “no-meat dinner.” So sweet!
Kryz, however, had to clarify on her post that the family did not break the quarantine guidelines for their party since they all resided beside each other and had dinner together every night. She appealed to fans and bashers not to make assumptions.

Kryz revealed her pregnancy through a vlog post in November 2019. She and Slater married in Cebu in February 2019.
