On June 18, 2017, Sunday, Kreon Community is proud to launch their art and music event entitled: “SILAKBO NG SINING,” to be held at The Backyard Foodtruck Community, Dasmarinas Cavite, from 5:00 pm to 12:00 pm. It is the sequel event from last year event “MUSIKA.”

This event aims to showcase the artworks crafted by the children from different orphanages/child institutions, who participated in the #ArtDrive2017 Summer Program organized by Kreon Community last April-May 2017. Artworks are available for purchasing. The proceeds from the artworks will be given to the institutions to contribute and support the children’s education needs.

Some local artists will be also showcasing their love and passion in arts and music through their own crafts for the entire event. For the opening act, a violin performance from Kirk Magbanua will set the mood of the event, followed by some spoken word poetry performances from the following local artists: Jen-EiramSapida-Ocampo, Dzeli Del Mundo, Verlin Santos, Aiza Beatriz, and Janine Llocin.

There will be also an acoustic and full band performances from the following independent local bands such as Aiza Beatriz, Drive True, Lihim, and Nobya.

Truly, the popular saying “A random act of kindness creates an endless ripple” live within the hearts of these group of young professionals in Cavite. The Kreon Community is a non-profitcommunity of volunteers which aims to provide every children the privilege to experience the fun in learning, the joy in self-expression through art, and to appreciate the beauty of life. They are a community of advocates that work together to create more opportunities to different types of cause.
