Selena Gomez just low-key deleted her last post about Justin Bieber on Instagram and thought no one was going to notice.
But as it has turned out, eagle-eyed fans have discovered that her birthday post to Justin dated March 1, 2018—during which Selena confirmed that the two rekindled their on-again, off-again relationship—suddenly went missing over the weekend.
“March 1, 1994 someone I knew that happens to be super cool was born. Boom,” she wrote on the post, which pictured her laughing with a Polaroid photo of Justin on her forehead.
Three weeks after that post, the two broke up permanently. Justin then began dating Hailey Baldwin in June, proposed to her in July, and then got married in September.
There’s no clear reason why Selena suddenly chose to delete that photo from her Instagram feed, especially since she has kept quiet for the longest time about her opinions on Justin and Hailey’s whirlwind romance and eventual marriage. Perhaps it’s her silent effort to completely remove herself from Justin’s narrative now that Justin is pretty much serious with his relationship with Hailey.

Whatever it may be, it goes to show that Selena is ready to move on from that chapter of her life. Hopefully, Jelena fans finally will too.
