Sanya Lopez is heartbroken over the loss of her pet dog, Mackee. She took to social media to pay tribute to the recently adopted stray dog.

The Kapuso actress shared a compilation video of their heartwarming moments, including a clip of when she first introduced Mackee.
“Unang kita palang namin sayo minahal ka agad namin. Sandaling panahon ka lang sa amin pero pinaramdam mo kung gaano mo rin kami kamahal [The first time we saw you, we loved you already. You were only with us for a short time but you also made us feel how much you love us],” she wrote.
In the video, Sanya showed Mackee cuddling and playing with her other dogs. She also expressed how much she’ll miss Mackee’s sweet gestures, such as waiting for her outside her room, running towards the gate whenever she comes home, and adorably staring at her.

“Maraming salamat at nakilala ka namin. Mahal na mahal ka namin. You’ll always be forever in our hearts. Run free my baby Mackee!” she concluded.
In the comments section, fans and fellow celebrities Carla Abellana, Cai Cortez, Kakai Bautista, and director Mark Reyes sent uplifting messages to the actress.
Sanya is known as a dog lover. In 2022, she and her brother, Jak Roberto, grieved the loss of their pet dog, Jong Jong.
