After the two previously denied any romantic relations between them, basketball player Ricci Rivero and Los Baños councilor Leren Mae Bautista were spotted holding hands in public.
The two apparently kept holding hands even as fans went up to have pictures with them, as seen in video clips that have since gone viral online.

Ricci and Leren were first rumored to be dating in June around the same time that Andrea Brillantes confirmed her breakup with the athlete after over a year of being together. Fans of Andrea had accused Leren of being the cause of the split as Ricci reposted a photo of himself taken by the beauty queen-turned-politician on his Instagram Stories which he later deleted. Fans also noted that Ricci and Leren were previously seen together on May 25 at an outreach program, further escalating the rumors.
Leren denied these third-party allegations, saying in an official statement on her office’s Facebook page that “these claims are entirely false and have no basis in reality.”
However, two months later in August, the two were again spotted together having a morning jog at the University of the Philippines Los Baños Freedom Park in Laguna and while shopping inside a store.
They have yet to officially confirm or deny any romantic development between them.
