Ever wanted to hone your rapping skills? Then you’re in luck because Filipino FlipTop rapper Loonie is launching free online rap classes soon!
Loonie dropped the announcement on his Facebook page on Thursday, June 4, where he introduced his new YouTube channel called “Looniebersidad: Rap Academy” where he will post tips and tutorials for budding rappers to polish their craft.
“Classes to open this June 2020! #FreeEducationForAll,” he said.
It was last month when Loonie held a live stream for his fans also titled “Looniebersidad” where he gave a sneak peek of what people can expect on his online rap classes. He has also been shooting “Break It Down” videos on his own YouTube vlog where he reviews local rap songs and rap battles.
Loonie, whose real name is Marlon Penoramas, grew to fame in the FlipTop rap battle scene and is best known for his songs “Pilosopo” with Smugglaz and “Tao Lang” with Quest. He also starred in award-winning film “Respeto” with fellow FlipTop rapper Abra.
