LOOK: This ‘Quarantine Bento Momma’ Makes Cute Snacks for Her Kids

If you’re looking to spice up your kids’ lives now that we’re living in ‘the new normal’ and spending much more time at home, take a page out of Rechelle Delos Reyes’ book. She has developed some cool and fun bento skills during quarantine, and we love them! Although she is new to it and admits that she isn’t an expert, we love how she developed her bento skills to benefit herself and her kids (who are both picky eaters).

Instead of sitting around and worrying about what’s happening in the world, Rechelle shares that she pampers herself by making some bento. “This has also served as a creative outlet for me during lockdown,” she adds.

Since Rechelle wants to make food for her kids that are both healthy and cute, she mixes what she loves with servings of fruits, vegetables, and some ayuda (like instant pancit canton, sardines, and bread) in cute shapes and designs. Her kids can’t stop raving about it, and we can totally see why. They’re all just sooooo cute!

Rechelle says she hopes to inspire others to include art in preparing their food for their loved ones. Have you tried making cute bento yourself? Show us some pictures! We’d love to see them! 😀
