Old Taylor is dead, indeed. Looks like people can’t get enough of Taylor Swift’s new “reputation”.
Pre-orders for Taylor Swiftโs newest album โReputationโ have reached more than 400,000 units, becoming Target’s music pre-sale of all time!
According to Big Machine Records, Taylor’s label, pre-orders for Reputation are double the number of pre-orders for Swiftโs โ1989โ album, just a week before its release in 2014.
Target also confirmed that Reputation is its largest music pre-sale ever, which also includes purchases at iTunes, Target, Walmart, Amazon and Taylor’s website.
Four songs have already been released from Reputation, which is Taylor’s sixth album, such as “Look What You Made Me Do”,ย “โฆReady for It?”, “Call It What You Want”, and “Gorgeous”.
The singerโs last three albums: 1989, Red, and Speak Now have each sold over one million units weeks within their release.
