Nothing seems more conducive to a romantic weekend than dinner outdoors in the cool weather, with a view of the glorious sunset over the bay.
At Sofitel, it’s certainly possible to have this setup–and it doesn’t even have to be Valentine’s.
Beginning February 14th until the upcoming weekends of March, Sofitel is offering a poolside outdoor dining setup at Sunset Bar. The buffet includes a small but well-selected assort of salads and meat, chilled shrimps and lobsters, fresh seafood and meat that you can ask the chefs to grill for you. Of course, there’s always lechon, steak, and an assortment of cakes, tarts and even Filipino desserts.
This al fresco dining experience is complemented by a live band playing pop hits and jazz in the background.
Heading over on a weekend is fine. Until March 18, the annual Fete En Blanc or White Party is set to take place. Diners are encouraged to wear white, while enjoying a barbecue buffet and unlimited beer or iced tea.
Dinner starts at 6:30pm and runs until 10:30pm, but it’s still best to head on early. Get a couple of cocktails to start with and secure the best seats for that stunning view of the sunset.
