Pokemon Go’s been taking the nation by storm.
Nearly everyone’s doing it. Brands, both big and small had also been taking advantage of this to get more attention and to promote their brands even more, but I think the Philippine Eagle Foundation did the most awesome move for it.
A few days ago, they posted this:
“Did you know that there are three PokeStops in the Philippine Eagle Center? Catch ’em all while learning about the rare Philippine Eagle and how you can help to save them.
The Philippine Eagle Center is in Malagos, Davao City.
We’re open everyday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
#FlyFreePHEagle #PHEagleStay”
I loved this because they used the trend to promote about the Philippine eagle and educate people for their survival. Capturing and getting more Pokemon is surely a plus for this experience!

If you’re in Davao or you’ll be heading there soon, you might want to have a look at this. Gotta catch ’em all for the Pokemon, and save ’em all for the Philippine eagle!
What do you think about this marketing strategy?
