STAGE 3
For the Adults: Theater Arts, Basic Acting, Creative Musical (All ages 17 and above) and Theater Education
As we grow older – rejections, failures and problems sometimes get the best of us. Our dreams are set aside as our own version of reality takes place. Our need to earn and survive became one of our top priorities. Our facilitator that day, Mr. Phil Noble, talks about how television work is his “Bread and Butter” but the theater is where his soul is. This summer – refuel, recharge and relive your creative soul. Go back to the days where playing was a seriously fun business. PETA is also open for all the yuppies out there who needs to take break from daily office routine, college students who needs a new hobby, those who wants to revive their old dream or simply any one who wants to learn more about life … all these while taking the center stage.
STAGE 4
For the Young at Heart: Theater Arts, Basic Acting, Creative Musical (All ages 17 and above) and Theater Education
But it doesn’t stop there. PETA is open to all ages! Even the retired folks whose hearts are looking for new homes are always welcome! As they say, learning is a never ending journey. There’s always something new to do each and every day! In addition to workshops, they also offer Theater Education, so they can pass on the knowledge and morals to the next generation. 🙂
With a variety of workshops, each tackling the different parts of theater namely: creative dance, group dynamics, body movements, creative musical, creative writing and visual arts; with some workshops specializing in a particular aspect, PETA shapes their workshoppers into competitive artists trained in all of theater’s divisions.
PETA believes in balance. They orient their workshoppers with basic theater knowledge, apply their craft artistically and build lifelong relationships along the way. One can not be without the other. No matter how astonishing their productions may be, getting along with their fellow cast-mate and the crew is equally important. It’s not just about being visually pleasing and having mental understanding, it’s all about having a full heart with burning passion and love for the stage and its people.
When In Manila remember that age is just a number, youth is found deep inside our hearts and PETA’s workshops are here to show you that learning while working hard for an eye catching production can be both fun and rewarding. Tell your story as you witness the four stages of life give breath to the four corners of the stage in a culminating recital that wraps up all of PETA’s teachings at the end of the workshop! Make this summer memorable, enroll in PETA!
I did. And would love to do it again! Till next time!
