The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) celebrated its 42nd anniversary yesterday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
The league, which is the first professional basketball league in Asia, was established on April 9, 1975. It is the oldest league in the world, only second after the NBA.
The PBA gave out special prizes for their fans and hosted meet-and-greet sessions with several players from Star and Barangay Ginebra as part of its celebration.
