Pawssion Project is urgently seeking help with the relocation of its rescued animals currently housed in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.
The animal welfare organization has put its rescue operations on hold indefinitely as it searches for a temporary space to accommodate around 450 rescued dogs and cats.

In a social media post, Pawssion Project said they only have until the end of December to relocate. Initially, the organization was set to lose the Bulacan shelter in June but successfully negotiated an extension. Despite actively searching for a new and permanent location, they have been unable to find one.
“It’s a bit too overwhelming but at this point, the land has prospective buyers and we are given till the end of this month,” the post read.
“We are extremely grateful already for the extension and the charity rate given to us in terms of rent all these years. But our rescues are really losing their home now. And they need your help. We have less than 30 days left to move.”
Pawssion Project emphasized that they will pool the funds saved from their previous events. Additionally, they are seeking to secure fosters, particularly for senior animals and those in need of special care.
Although their goal is to find a permanent space for their rescues, Pawssion Project reiterated that a temporary fenced and covered space with water and electricity supply that they can rent would be enough in the meantime.
“Buying the land is not an option because we just could not afford it. If anyone can offer land (rent to own or donate, ideally it should be at least 6,000 square meters to comfortably house our rescues and for us to build enough quarantine and isolation areas on top of the main areas,” they added.
“At this point, we are now open to different locations but we will always consider access to nearby vet clinics, and the logistics of moving hundreds of rescues. And it still has to be reasonably accessible from Metro Manila. Please, please help us get the word out.”
In another post, the organization detailed its plan amid the limited time remaining in its current shelter, including moving 50 dogs to its shelter in Bacolod, finding a fenced space within its area and a house to rent for its rescued cats, building a pool of fosters for its senior dogs, and hiring additional manpower in its Bacolod shelter.
“For the permanent land, we would still prefer a reasonably accessible area to Manila (max three hours drive) as we regularly have adoption drives and events to move our numbers. And we always want to open the shelter to everyone,” they continued. “At least 5,000 square meters, hopefully with water and electricity, no neighbors nearby, and has a nearby vet clinic.”
