Since the weather in Manila is super unpredictable, it’s much safer to choose fun activities in venues that are sure to keep you protected from the elements. If you’re pretty much done with watching movies or dining in your fave restaurants, here’s an awesome idea for your next barkada outing or date night.
Pat’s Putts is dubbed as the first indoor mini-golf course in the Philippines. It opened its first branch in Tiendesitas in late 2022, and they’ve recently opened a new branch in Ayala Malls Manila Bay.
We checked out the newest branch and were instantly welcomed by the lively and energetic vibe of Pat’s Putts.
Pat’s Putts in Ayala Malls Manila Bay has 27 mini golf courses for you to enjoy. It starts pretty chill so you can practice, then the courses gradually become more challenging as they become more complicated—and more fun!
Of course, Pat’s Putts provides the equipment you’ll be using for mini golf (a.k.a. putters), including colorful golf balls you can get from a cool gumball machine. They also have scorecards so you can keep track of who’s winning!
I honestly thought it was going to be intimidating at first for someone who has never touched anything golf-related before. But Pat’s Putts is definitely first-timer friendly, as all mini golf courses should be. Once we got a hang of it, the (intense) friendly competition instantly started.
The vibrant neon lights, neon mini-golf courses, and neon glow-in-the-dark graffiti on the walls also add to the youthful and thrilling vibe of Pat’s Putts. Get ready with your fresh fits, too, because you’re sure to take lots of pictures inside.
Aside from the mini golf courses that are already loads of fun, Pat’s Putts also has a fun game room! You can play giant versions of Connect 4, Jenga, a mini “soccer” goal game, and more. If you ever want to take a break from the mini golf courses, you can play a few games in the game room, then return to the courses—more game options mean more fun!
And since the mini golf course and the various games can be quite exhausting, Pat’s Putts also offers comfort food and drinks in their diner. Some items on their menu include nachos, chicken fingers, burgers, and even paper-thin liempo.
They also have a wide array of drinks including coffee, cocktails, soda, and their cool Granita which comes in an easy-to-carry yard glass so you can bring it to the mini golf course and take it home.
The fact that Pat’s Putts serves comfort food and drinks definitely adds major bonus points because it lets you enjoy more time playing and less time thinking about where you’re supposed to eat after.
If you have a big friend group, or you’re planning a family reunion, or you want a unique kind of team building for your company, Pat’s Putts also offers packages for private events!
Pat’s Putts offers a fun and exciting space for games, unique activities, and food all under one roof. So, we won’t even be surprised if this becomes your weekly hangout spot or date place with your loved ones!
Their regular rate is PHP 599 per head. This includes the 27-hole course, 2-hour equipment rental (putter & ball), and all-day access to the Game Room and restaurant.
PS. Just make sure to follow their social media platforms for updates on private events or operating hours.
