The Philippine Academic Society for Climate and Disaster Resilience (PASCDR), together with the UP Resilience Institute and De La Salle University, will hold its 3rd National Conference on October 8–10, 2025, at De La Salle University, Manila, bringing together academics, students, practitioners, and community partners in advancing local action on climate change and disaster risk reduction.

With the theme “Localizing Science-Based and Creative Innovations for Climate Change Action and Disaster Risk Reduction through Partnership and Collaboration,” the conference aims to strengthen the national dialogue on climate action and disaster resilience by sharing innovations, drawing lessons from partnerships, and setting directions for safer schools, institutions, and communities.
Since its founding in 2019, PASCDR has established itself as a leading organization providing expertise in climate change action and disaster resilience in the Philippines. Now on its third biennial run, the conference will reflect on past progress and apply key lessons toward PASCDR’s vision of sustainable and resilient communities across the Philippines.
With over 300 participants from different fields—natural sciences, engineering, technology, economics, social sciences, arts, and civil society—expected to attend, the conference will provide a platform to exchange insights, showcase innovations, and explore practical solutions for climate action and disaster resilience.
The conference also forms part of the celebration of DLSU’s 50th Jubilee, underscoring the university’s five decades of commitment to education, service, and nation-building.
