After making waves last year by bringing the Cannes sensation The Substance to Philippine theaters, CreaZion Studios is back with another bold move: the local premiere of No Other Choice, the latest film from legendary Korean director Park Chan-wook (Oldboy, The Handmaiden). The film hits Philippine cinemas on October 29, 2025.

Already gaining international buzz, No Other Choice is South Korea’s official entry to the 98th Academy Awards and currently boasts a 100% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Critics are calling it one of Park’s most gripping dramas yet—a story that blends human struggle, desperation, and survival in a way only he can deliver.
The film stars Lee Byung-hun (Squid Game) as Man-su, a seasoned paper manufacturing specialist who has built a happy life with his wife Miri (played by Crash Landing on You star Son Ye-jin), their two kids, and their two dogs.
When Man-su suddenly loses his job, his world begins to unravel. What starts as a determined quest to find new work spirals into a tense battle against time, humiliation, and the crushing weight of society’s expectations.
Man-su’s breaking point comes when he’s dismissed by a line manager at Moon Paper (played by Park Hee-soon). Instead of accepting defeat, he makes a chilling choice: “If there is no opening for me, I’ll just have to get hired by creating an opening.”
