According to the Hollywood Reporter, Zayn and Louis are embarking on an epic road trip for a three-part travel docuseries that will give viewers a “rare look inside the world of two of the most famous—and most private—men on the planet opening up about life, loss and fatherhood.”
The docuseries will be produced by Campfire Studios, with Ross Dinerstein and Rebecca Evans named as the executive producers.
While Zayn and Louis will headline the three-part series, the remaining One Direction members—Harry Styles and Niall Horan—are not expected to make an appearance.
The “Pillowtalk” hitmaker departed One Direction in 2015 and has since released solo albums such as Mind of Mine, Icarus Falls, Nobody Is Listening, and Room Under the Stairs. Meanwhile, the “Back to You” singer launched his solo career following the group’s hiatus in 2016.
This unexpected reunion shocked fans worldwide, as both members were publicly known to have had a falling-out following their feud on X (formerly Twitter). Thankfully, they’ve put the past behind them and were spotted together by fans on numerous occasions since the group’s hiatus.
The announcement of the docuseries comes a year after the passing of their fellow One Direction member, Liam Payne.
A release date is yet to be announced.
