American rock band Paramore just released their new single, “This Is Why,” after 5 years without new releases. Fans are, of course, elated. But that’s not the only reason why the band is in the headlines.
In an interview with The Guardian on September 29 where they talk about the new song, Paramore’s frontman Hayley Williams confirmed that she and Paramore guitarist Taylor York are dating.
The interview only states that the couple indeed confirms it but that they’ve declined to further comment on it.
There have been rumors about Williams and York dating for years, but this concise and direct confirmation has finally ended those rumors.
Hayley Williams is one of the original members of the band since it was formed in 2004, while Taylor York joined the group in 2007 and was officially introduced as a member of Paramore in 2009.
While the couple has remained mum about their relationship, fans have been ecstatic about Williams and York’s relationship.
Paramore’s “This is Why” is now available on digital streaming platforms.
