“One day at a time” — Bea Alonzo Writes on Her First Post on Instagram Since Bea-Gerald-Julia Issue

People have been waiting to hear from actress Bea Alonzo again ever since her cryptic Instagram photo last month shook the internet and started the whole Bea Alonzo-Gerald Anderson-Julia Barretto whirlwind of rumors (and ultimately even inciting a feud of Instagram bios between Barretto sisters Marjorie and Gretchen).

Early in August, after a few weeks of silence towards the issue, Julia Barretto finally took it to social media to speak out and defend herself in a bold Instagram post, even directly addressing Bea in it.

Obviously, since Julia’s statement, netizens have been waiting for a response from Bea herself.

Well, now, we’re finally hearing from Bea again, although not exactly as a response to the issue. (Sorry, folks.) In an Instagram post published on August 20, Bea wrote:

In the midst of my home renovation, I was going through old photos to choose what to put on our family wall when I saw this picture. I think I was one year old when this picture was taken.

My mom carrying me and I had the biggest smile as I was enjoying my chocolate given to me by my Lola.

Simple lang ang buhay.

I was not born with a silver spoon in my mouth but I was raised knowing that I am loved.?? Knowing this warms my heart.

I hope you could see how big my smile is right now while reminiscing my childhood.?

But of course, this didn’t stop fans of Bea from speculating that there are parts of her post that are still hinting on the issue, as seen from people’s comments on the Instagram post. Whether these are true, only Bea can tell, but  it doesn’t seem like she’ll talk about the issue again, at least not anytime soon.

After all, she did end her post with the hashtag “OneDayAtATime”, possibly hinting that she’s finally moving on.
