Bea Alonzo has finally broken her silence regarding allegations being made against her longtime boyfriend, Gerald Anderson, having a romantic affair with his young costar Julia Barretto.
On Sunday, July 21, Bea left a cryptic message with a blacked-out photo on Instagram. “‘You can’t make the same mistake twice, the second time you make it, it’s not a mistake anymore, it’s a choice.’ ENOUGH,” she wrote in the caption.
She then posted on Instagram stories a quote related to her post which read: “Something I learned about people… If they do it once, they’ll do it again.”
These came after an Instagram user posted a photo of the Between Maybes costars being spotted together at Rayver Cruz’s birthday party. The user claimed that the two “went on the same car together alone” and that their body language around each other was different.
Moments after, Bea liked the post.
Marjorie Barretto was quick to defend her daughter in the post, however, and said the two were together with a big group. “This is not a date. They know each other, they have worked together, they are friends,” she said.
The post in question has since been deleted.
To even fuel the fire, Bea started liking a number of Instagram posts related to cheating. She even liked a comment on her original post that said, “My god si Bea at Joshua kawawa dito.” (“My god Bea and Joshua are the victims here.”)
Julia and Gerald have yet to speak up about the issue. Joshua Garcia, Julia’s ex-boyfriend, on the other hand, has also maintained his silence apart from liking Bea’s post.
Bea and Gerald had a short-lived relationship in 2010 and then got back together in 2016 after filming How To Be Yours.
