The Magical Realism movie starring Nadine Lustre and Carlo Aquino is about Nadine who plays the character named Maya, an editorial assistant that is out to find love and healing. She then realizes that good things happen when it rains.
Far from the previous movies of Nadine Lustre, Ulan’s genre of Magical Realism is outside the actress’ comfort zone and is the first movie where she is not teamed up with real-life boyfriend James Reid.
At the press conference of the streaming app, Nadine shared that she is really excited to shoot another original movie for the app and is looking into an action movie with Robin Padilla and Paolo Avelino who she shared, is her good friend.
Ulan was released in March 2019 and is directed by Irene Villaflor.
