Alexa Ilacad and Kim Ji Soo’s new movie “Mujigae” just released its first teaser on Monday, September 9, giving fans a sneak peek at what to expect.
In the over 30-second video, Alexa is seen as the caretaker of Mujigae, played by child star Ryrie Turingan, getting her ready for school and cheering for her at a school program.
Ji Soo, meanwhile, was seen in the clip giving Mujigae some Korean snacks and teaching her how to ride a bicycle.
Mujigae, which she says is Korean for “rainbow,” is also seen in the teaser speaking English, Filipino, and Korean, which causes adults around her to wonder what her nationality is.
Apart from the three aforementioned actors, “Mujigae” stars Rufa Mae Quinto, Cai Cortez, Donna Cariaga, Kate Alejandrino, Lui Manansala, Peewee O’Hara, Roly Inocencio, and Richard Quan.
It is directed by Randolph Longjas (known for “Ang turkey man ay pabo rin” (2013), “Star na si Van Damme Stallone” (2016) and “Last One Laughing Philippines” (2024)) and written by Mark Raywin Tome.
This comes after Ji Soo signed to be a Sparkle GMA Artist Center talent amid controversy in his home country South Korea.
