Motorcycle Riding in Tandem: Back Rider with Big Gun

Motorcycle Riding in Tandem: Back Rider with Big Gun

The increasing number of crimes on the road due to motorcycle riding in tandem is alarming. We have posted before about the riding in tandem holdup along Mindanao Ave that was caught on cam and the riding in tandem modus operandi in C5 late at night.

Due to these, many policies and laws are being pushed like the Riding in Tandem Ordinance in Mandaluyong City, and recently, the proposed Nationwide Helmet Ban Bill.

In this regard, we received a couple of messages from two of our readers here at WhenInManila.com containing photos of a motorcycle riding in tandem along Abad Santos.

What’s disturbing is that the back rider seems to be carrying a big gun with him.

Here, take a look at the photos. (Click to see full resolution of the images.)

From a farther angle, the big gun carried by the back rider becomes more apparent.

A closer look.

We are not sure if the gun is authentic or if it’s just a toy, but bringing something like this in a public place in such a way can still cause panic for those who can see it. So, are these legal issues governing this?

Moreover, we also don’t know the identity of the motorists. They could be undercover cops or in the military.

What do you think of this?

Even if it was a toy gun, what are the laws in bringing something like this that can cause panic?

Have you also witnessed this?

Share it in the comments.

Keep safe!
