In a Facebook post by the Department of Health, they revealed that 508,332 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were administered for the 1st dose.
There are over 1,759 vaccination sites in 17 regions that are vaccinating healthcare workers from the previous vaccine total of 1,125,600 that were distributed. More than half of the previously available vaccines were already administered and since the arrival of the 400,000 donated SINOVAC doses, more healthcare workers are set to get a jab soon.
According to the DOH’s vaccine statistics posted on March 23, 2021, the 7-day average of daily vaccinated individuals is 32,756. In the National Capital Region (NCR), 149,256 was already administered out of the 251,235 allocation. The number of vaccine allocations is set to increase as vaccine doses arrive in the country in the next few weeks/months.

The Priority Group-A1 or the frontline healthcare workers were given the option between CoronaVac or AstraZeneca. DOH also said that the vaccination is gradual so there will be adequate staff in healthcare facilities.
