The Miss Universe Philippines just crowned its winner this morning but the pageant is already simmering with drama.
Sandra Lemonon, Taguig’s representative, posted a series of Instagram Stories alluding to cheating.
Just 11 hours ago, Lemonon posted a video of herself walking with the caption, “Get ready loves, tomorrow I will be announcing big news, it’s time to be honest & speak facts.”
This was followed by another Story four hours ago, saying, “The truth always comes out. It’s just about timing. Karma is real. Soon. Because we deserve justice.”
Shamcey Supsup, Miss Universe Philippines winner and national director of the national pageant, posted her own story, saying, “To bear defeat with dignity, to accept criticism with poise, to receive honors with humility — these are the marks of a true QUEEN.”
Lemonon posted her latest Story an hour ago, showing a cup of tea. The caption reads, “Accepting defeat graciously is one of the many mark[s] of being a queen. But what you forgot to say is that REAL queens play FAIR [and] don’t CHEAT.”
