Through Mind’s Eye, the viewers will be transported to Italy, exploring its landmarks, museums, and galleries, like the Uffizi Gallery in Florence, which houses the world’s biggest collection of important Renaissance art — including Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, and Botticelli. Veteran stage director Jaime del Mundo returns as the director of Mind’s Eye, which brings to life a story of how rich and inspiring the imagination could be

“Reading books stretches our imagination. This play alludes to this marvel and hopes to inspire us to be more positive, open and caring. More importantly, it reminds us to constantly challenge our ideas,” said Virata. The book seamlessly translates to the stage, and many were moved in last year’s production.

“If your eyes were closed as they described the scenery and made things ‘more real,’ you could have practically been with them there in Italy as well,” said Clarice Tee, a 14 year old audience member.
