Following the success of KinnPorsche The Series, global fans are finally seeing the return of Thailand’s breakout duo, Mile Phakphum and Apo Nattawin, in their newest series Shine.

During the press event at centralwOrld LIVE in Bangkok, the official trailer premiered to thousands of fans, accompanied by a near-full cast reveal—ending over a year of speculation and secrecy in which only Mile and Apo had been confirmed.
Marking their second on-screen pairing, Shine is a BL romance drama that shares a deep and transformative story about love and identity that is set across three transformative decades in Thai history. From the 1950s to the 1970s, the series weaves together an intimate storytelling as well as a rich and vibrant portrayal of historical events.
The highly anticipated series is led by creative visionary Pond Krisda (Executive Producer, Director, Scriptwriter), the mind behind KinnPorsche. He is also joined by Ning Bhanbhassa (Director, Scriptwriter, Acting Coach), Bua Parida (Scriptwriter), and Jean Khamkwan (Co-Director, Editing & Art Direction)
Additionally, the series will be joined by an ensemble cast, featuring Bump Pawat, Euro Yotsawat, JJay Patiphan, Kob Pimolrat, Nok Sinjai, Oab Oabnithi, Peter Deriy, Punpun Sutatta, Son Yuke, and Tiew Disaya. More names are set to be revealed in the future.

Apart from a stellar ensemble cast, the newest series also spotlights its original soundtrack, featuring Slot Machine. The Thai rock legends have contributed select original songs specially written for the show, elevating its emotional depth and cinematic atmosphere.
“Shine hit us like a beautiful riot, visceral, bold, unapologetic. After KinnPorsche, we hadn’t touched drama for a while, but knowing it came from the same fearless team, we couldn’t stay away. This isn’t just a show, it’s a storm of art, emotion, and disruption.” said Foet, the frontman of Slot Machine.
Other Thai artists will also be part of the musical lineup, with production led by Jay Monton, Ake from Season Five, and Tero Entertainment.
Shine will premiere on August 2, 2025, airing every Saturday on Channel 7HD and streaming uncensored worldwide via WeTV and www.WeTV.vip.
