Since the untimely passing of the Philippines’ Superstar, Nora Aunor, on April 16, friends, family, and fans have paid heartfelt tributes to honor her and the amazing legacy that she created.
Among those who paid their respects to the National Artist is comedian “Bitoy” Michael V., who created an art piece depicting Nora Aunor when she was younger.

In the caption of his post, Michael V. spoke of all the things that made Nora Aunor a one-of-a-kind talent and how there won’t ever be anyone in this generation who will come close to what she achieved.

“Sometime in the 90s, narinig ko from the legendary Rico J. Puno kung pa’no maging “superstar” sa Philippine entertainment industry and he said there are 5 requirements:
1. Dapat number one sa ratings ang TV show mo.
2. Dapat blockbuster sa takilya ang movie mo.
3. Dapat nasa playlist ng radio stations ang mga kanta mo.
4. Dapat sold out ang concerts mo.
5. Dapat maganda ang reviews ng theater/stage plays mo.
Ang hirap, ‘di ba?
Iisa lang ang kilala ko sa showbiz na na-achieve LAHAT ito SIMULTANEOUSLY at one point in her career…
Si Nora Aunor lang.
May iba pa ba kayong kilala in this generation sa industriya natin na kayang pumantay sa achievement n’ya?
I seriously doubt it.
