In November, Kobe Bryant announced his retirement from basketball and it sent the world in a frenzy. People everywhere agreed that it was the end of an era, but we have all learned to cope with the sadness of it as the months have gone by. It’s been fun seeing the tributes to Kobe from the Detroit Pistons and the Golden State Warriors, to name a couple; but the best gift by far has got to be the one that he got from Michael Jordan himself during the NBA All-Star Weekend.

Yes, when Kobe attended a Jordan Brand party in Toronto on Friday before the final NBA All-Star Game, Larry Miller, Jordan Brand President, gave him every single pair of Jordan shoes from I to XXX. Yes. Every. Single. Pair. WOW. Best Valentine’s gift, este, retirement gift ever, in my opinion! :p
