Massimo Trulli is a new concept store in Makati that combines fashion, food, and wine. Stepping in the store, I was immediately taken with the place. Yes, definitely, it has everything to do with the row of wines in the bar and those peeking behind the glass wine storage and the wall of Italian leather bags, wallets, and shoes…
Adriano Stefanutti and Gale Atienza, wine sommeliers and venture partners of Massimo Trulli, were our hosts for the night. To start off, they offered us a very nice prosecco (Foss Marai “Strada di Guia 109” Prosecco Extra Dry Valdobbiadene DOCG) while we waited for the rest of our party.
Gale introduced us to the brand—Massimo Trulli. Admittedly, this was new to us, but we quickly got into it, checking out bags and trying on shoes. We were impressed with the quality of the leather and workmanship, and found the designs fun and interesting. They actually look like something I would own. Adriano then led us to the modest wine storage which boasts of impressive fine Italian wines. It was their wines the Pope drank when Pope Francis visited the Philippines.
