One of our favorite Filipino restaurants, Manam has been making waves here in the Metro.
Manam Comfort Filipino, The Moment Group’s homegrown Filipino brand, is one of the Best Asia Casual restaurants of the year according to the global website Opinionated About Dining (OAD). Founded by Steve Plotnicki, a New York-based restaurant connoisseur, the OAD surveys a trusted roster of reviewers that includes members of the food industry and dining community on the top establishments across different categories around the world.
Manam joins a roster of 100 casual dining go-to’s in the region, including legendary establishments such as Singapore’s Sungei Road Laksa, Hong Kong’s Yat Lok, and Taiwan’s Din Tai Fung. It is the only Filipino establishment on the Asia Casual list.
“OAD’s 2022 Best Asia Casual Restaurant list includes some of our own favorite spots so it means a lot for us to see Manam on it. We are delighted and humbled by this recognition and we are always grateful for our diners’ and industry peers’ support,” says Moment Co-Founder and restaurateur Abba Napa.
The OAD also released its list of Top Restaurants in Asia, which includes Mecha Uma, The Moment Group’s chef’s table concept in collaboration with Chef Bruce Ricketts. It is Mecha Uma’s fourth year on the OAD list.
