According to an exclusive report from People, a representative for Ariana said that the singer will step away from the public eye due to “endless, ongoing public scrutiny.”

“She looks forward to finishing the tour and ending it on a high note, both healthily and happily, and then taking a much-deserved break from public-facing work and appearances, which has led to endless, ongoing public scrutiny,” the representative told People.

However, the rep explained that the tour has been a “beautiful” experience for her.

“This tour has been a beautiful experience for her. She loves her fans and has loved every minute of this tour so much,” it noted.

Following this statement, the 33-year-old singer will no longer appear in the West End revival of Stephen Sondheim’s “Sunday in the Park with George,” where she would’ve starred opposite her “Wicked” co-star Jonathan Bailey.

On July 31, the singer unveiled her studio album “Petal” along with the music video for its title track.

Following the release of “Petal,” social media users began discussing her overall health and well-being. The public discourse further intensified after the music video was released.
