Spot that little router? Yes, they have broadband internet!

Sol y Sombra is located just behind Lugar Bonito, at the Seรฑor Pablo Compound. I believe its overall theme is much closer to the owner’s Spanish roots.

Sol y Sombra has just as massive and luxurious beds as Lugar Bonito

Aesthetic

Equally charming as its rustic-themed counterpart, Sol y Sombra features a more contemporary, shabby-chic design. Their rooms’ walls are painted a very soothing dove gray, and are accented with distressed white wooden doors, printed pillows, and iron-wrought lamps. The dream catchers and bits of art taped on the walls were a very nice, personalized touch.

Rooms are similarly compact as in Lugar Bonito, but still offer all all essential amenities. Ours had air conditioning, a flat-screen cable TV, coffee, tea and electric kettle, and a hot and cold shower. And just like Lugar Bonito’s, Sol y Sombra’s beds are ultra-comfortable and hotel grade.

We stayed at Sol y Sombra’s one and only standard room. A majority of their rooms are for groups of friends and families. Their two double rooms can accommodate a maximum of four guests, while their two family rooms can comfortably house a group of eight.
