LRT-1, LRT-2, and MRT-3 have announced that operations will be suspended during the following period to make way for their annual Holy Week maintenance work.
Normal operations will resume on April 21, with the first MRT-3 trains departing North Avenue Station at 4:30 a.m. and Taft Avenue Station at 5:05 a.m.
Have a safe trip, everyone!

It’s great that the schedules for LRT and MRT are being announced ahead of time for Holy Week 2025. Many people rely on these trains, so knowing the closures in advance can help avoid unnecessary hassle. However, I believe the suspension during such a peak travel time could still be inconvenient for some commuters who need to get around for family gatherings or other activities. Hopefully, alternative transportation options are planned to accommodate the demand during this period. What do you think about the timing of these closures—should they be adjusted to be more commuter-friendly?
